ProperSpell is the free counterpart to Jaunter's commercial spellcheck service, Lucien. Even though it is free, we still strive to maintain uptime and service level above most expectation. You are free to use this service without any guarantee and/or warranty by those parties involved with ProperSpell following the guidelines outlined below.

Usage
By staying within the acceptable limits defined by the Google terms of service, you are free to use this service. However, you are limited to a daily request quota which is tied directly to your Google API Key. Please see our FAQ for explanations of API Keys and request quotas.
We do maintain the right to block requests from IP addresses and/or domains which we feel are abusing this service without any warning to those affected site operators.
Terms of Service
Our goal is to provide a turn-key, simple to install, transparent to use, spellcheck solution. We are constantly looking at ways to improve and streamline this process as well as enhance the functionality. With that in mind, we can safely say that we want to provide you the best possible service with the least amount of headache. We can not say that our service is infallable and that we can be held accountable for it. We will provide support via our support forums and via email when possible.
Privacy Policy
Information regarding searches performed and spelling suggestions returned are stored on our system. These are used for proxy caching. Because we have limited information regarding the user, everything is stored completely anonymous. To ensure the privacy and safety of this data, we use industry standard best practices for the storage and retrieval of this information.
